Articulating Implement Hitch

A device used to create a joint connection between two pieces of equipment.

Auger Bed Bearing Kit

A device used to upgrade the wooden block bearing on the grain-pan augers.

Austempered Ductile Iron

Iron which has been structurally manipulated through sophisticated heat-treating processes for superior strength.

Bearing

Part of a machine that bears friction.

Bearing Protector

Bearing covers that provide a minute space between the outside bearing race and the bearing protector itself.

Chain Tensioner and Idler

A device that keeps the chain tight on components that weren’t specifically designed for a given chain.

Clutch

A mechanism for connecting and disconnecting a vehicle engine from its transmission system.

Drawbar

A bar on a vehicle to which something can be attached to pull or be pulled.

Feeder Housing Roller Kit

A component designed to keep the feeder chain on rollers and off the slides.

Flanged

A projecting flat rim on an object, serving to strengthen or attach to maintain position on a rail.

Heat Treatment

Various techniques of controlled heating and cooling applied to a metal component to provide the desired properties.

Idler Wheel

A system used to transmit the rotation of the main shaft of a motor to another rotating device.

Idler Wheel Roller

Cylindrical component that aids in the movement of the idler wheel.

Pintle Chain

Chain made of U-shaped links, where the pin at the open end of one link goes through holes at the closed end of the next.

Pitch

The distance between a central point on adjacent links or teeth.

Power Transmission

The movement of energy from its place of generation to a location where it is applied to perform useful work.

Shaker

A device used to separate materials from products by creating a shaking action.

Sprocket

A toothed wheel whose teeth engage the links of a chain.

Urethane

A synthetic crystalline compound used in making pesticides and fungicides, and formerly as an anesthetic. Short for polyurethane, which is defined as a synthetic resin in which the polymer units are linked by urethane groups, used chiefly in paints and varnishes.
